What are Scooby Medallions?
The Scooby Medallion is a collectable in Scooby-Doo! First Frights. Collecting one rewards the player with 500 Scooby Snacks. While not necessary, collecting them all is mandatory in the 100% and All Medallions speedrun categories.
Collecting all Scooby Medallions is also required to unlock the last trophy in the game. There are a total of 81 medallions in the Console/PC version and the DS version has 85 total medallions.
In the context of a speedrun, the goal is to minimize the number of level revisits and subsequent backtracking. As of Spring 2025, the levels that require revisits are as follows:
- 1-2
- 3-1
- 3-3
- 4-1
- 4-3
For all other levels, there are strategies you can use to collect the medallions earlier than normally intended.

Right of dumpster (after Scooby/Shaggy lever but before the air duct) – Story Medallion.
3rd Medallion:
Trophy cabinet (straight ahead after entering school) – Story Medallion.
4th Medallion:
Trophy cabinet (witch battle) – Story Medallion.

After second pit – Story Medallion.
2nd Medallion:
Near table and chairs. (Left side) – Story Medallion.

Shaggy grapple – Freeplay Medallion.
